Therapy with Carys
I offer in-person counselling from a private therapy room in Nantwich, Cheshire (CW5), with free parking available. Online sessions are also available via Google Meet.
Therapy with me is:
Collaborative and down-to-earth - not about being analysed or “fixed”, but having space to untangle what’s going on without judgement or pressure to have it all figured out.
Thoughtful and flexible - shaped around you, your story, and what actually feels helpful, whether that means exploring the past, making sense of the present, or finding steadier ways forward.
Human and real - a space for tears, relief, swearing, reflection, laughter, uncertainty, and the things you’ve never quite known how to say out loud.
I often work with people who appear very capable on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, overthinking, low self-worth, people-pleasing, relational trauma, or emotional burnout.
Our work together isn’t about becoming a different person. It’s about helping you feel safer, steadier, and more connected to yourself.
What I can help with
I often work with people experiencing:
Anxiety, panic, and persistent overthinking
Low self-worth and a harsh inner critic
People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries
Relational trauma, abuse, or difficult early experiences
Emotional burnout and feeling overwhelmed despite “coping well” on the outside
Many of the people I see appear capable and functional externally, while internally feeling exhausted, anxious, or stuck in repeating patterns.

Practical details

In-person appointments are available at my dedicated counselling room in Nantwich (CW5). The cosy space is ideal for taking time to reflect and discover in a comfortable, peaceful environment. There is ample free parking available in the on-site car park.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and available Wednesday-Friday.
My fee for in-person sessions is £55 per session.

For folks who are further afield or who simply prefer to meet digitally, online appointments are available via Google Meet.
