My in-person sessions are based out of my dedicated counselling room at Frederick House, Nantwich (Cheshire CW5) within driving distance of local towns of Crewe, Sandbach, Alsager, Winsford and Middlewich.
The room is a few minutes outside the centre of town and there is ample free parking. I also offer online sessions to folks across the UK via Google Meet or Doxy.
You can choose which way of meeting works best for you - and even swap and change between the two.

Sessions are charged at £50 per 50 minute session. I ask that payment is made by bank transfer anywhere up to 24 hours after our session.
My bank details will be provided when we agree the contract for our work together.

Yes, I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), a membership organisation that sets standards for therapeutic practice and is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Get in touch! I’m most responsive via email, so reach out via the website form or email me directly at carys@outofthewoodscounselling.co.uk. I always respond to every enquiry so if you don’t here from me within 24 hours (not including weekends), please check your spam.
From there, we can arrange a free 15-20 minute introductory phone call. This gives us both an opportunity to get a sense of whether we may be a good fit, for me to share a little information about how I work, and for you to share as much (or as little!) information as you would like to about what has brought you to counselling.
Choosing the right counsellor for you is a big decision, and so I never ask anyone to make a decision on the phone. If, after a chance to mull it over, you feel you’d like to move forward then we can look at booking in our first session.

No! I encourage clients to begin with weekly sessions where possible, to support us in really getting to know each other during our early work. However, you may find that following this, fortnightly or even monthly sessions work best for you.

I ask that you give as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend your counselling session. Where less than 24 hours notice is given, the session will be charged at full session rate, unless you have been required to cancel due to personal emergency.
Where possible, I am to give you a minimum of 2 weeks notice to any scheduled absence that would impact our sessions.

If there’s anything I haven’t covered, please don’t hesitate to drop me an email.
